We love Mekong Riverview hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful location that offers a great view of Mekong river. You can just sit back or relax at your patio or the reception and watch the world go by!

Belle Rive Boutique Hotel is another of our favourites. Situated in the historical center of the peninsula and within walking distance to numerous famous temples, each room offers the calm and magnificent view on the Mekong river.

Belmond La Résidence Phou Vao is one of the most luxurious and peaceful hotels you can find in Luang Prabang. Situated on top of a hill, the hotel offers wonderful mountain view, yet you are still close enough to town. By night the lawns are lit with thousands of candles, creating a magical atmosphere.

Last but not least, we are also a fan of Satri House, a beautiful hotel within walking distance to town in traditional Laotian style. The hotel has got a stunning ground with a lush tropical garden and you can tell the owner has put a lot of effort in creating such special ambience with darkwood furniture, buddha statues, Laotian wall hangings, art & antiques. At some point you'll feel like you are wandering in a private residence!
